How Clauto Works
Clauto scans thousands of dealer listings, compares every car to the market, and gives you a simple 0–100 score so you can spot great deals instantly.
Three Simple Steps

Enter your zip code and optionally filter by make, model, year, and price range.
2. Compare

3. Save & Alert
Save your search and get notified when new deals matching your criteria hit the market.
Deal Score Explained
Our algorithm considers price vs. market value, mileage, time on the lot, and recent price drops to give every listing a score from 0 to 100.
Amazing Deal
Significantly below market value. These rarely last long — act fast.
Good Deal
Priced below market. A solid buy with room for negotiation.
Fair Price
Right around market value. A reasonable purchase with no red flags.
Above Market
Priced above comparable vehicles. You might negotiate or find a better option.
Overpriced
Well above market. We recommend looking at other listings first.
What Factors Affect the Score?
Price vs. Market
The biggest factor. We compare the listing price against thousands of similar vehicles to determine fair market value.
Mileage
Lower-than-average mileage for the year boosts the score. High mileage can lower it if the price doesn't reflect it.
Days on Market
Cars sitting longer may indicate negotiation room. We factor this into the score as a potential opportunity.
Price Drops
Recent price drops signal a motivated seller. Multiple drops boost the deal score significantly.
